About
Club Soleil
Established in July 1996, Soleil is a proprietary club organised
and run by ourselves June and Norman Calvert from Yorkshire. You
are always assured of a warm welcome at Soleil.
We believe there is nothing worse than going to a venue for the
first time, and not knowing where anything is, so we always make
a point of showing anyone visiting our events for the first time
around the facilities to help them relax and feel more a part of
the group.
Soleil has built a reputation over the last few years for its friendliness,
its down to earth no nonsense, "If you're a naturist, you're welcome"
policy.
The club's ongoing success is due to it being "forward looking"
and having the ability to adapt and change with the times.
From its small beginning, with swims held locally at the Manor
Leisure Centre, Whittlesey, the club has expanded further afield,
hosting leisure evenings at larger venues such as Bedford, on a
regular basis.
Admissions are naturally at the discretion of the organisers, we
welcome all naturists - couples, families and "singles" - are all
equally welcome at all our events on production of satisfactory
identification. Visitors may make 3 introductory visits to club
events after which they will be expected to support the club by
applying for membership, currently just £15 per year for each Adult
aged 18 years old or over.
The membership year runs from 1st January until the 31st December,
and application should be made to the Club Secretary using a membership
form available at all club events, or from this website by clicking
on the Membership link, then membership form.
New members are placed "on probation" for their first year, before
becoming full members of the club.
All our venues are suitable for "first time" naturists, "disabled"
persons can take full advantage of the pool's facilities at every
event, and we are willing to help in any way we can to ensure you
enjoy your time with us.
We like to think of ourselves as "A ray of Yorkshire Sunshine in
the Fens", so if it's Saturday - and you've "Nothing on" - why not
come and join us?
